Protect your pup's paws! 🐾
Here’s how:
-Walk early or late: Aim for early morning or after sunset strolls.
-Do the 7-second test: Place the back of your hand on the pavement. If it’s too hot to hold for 7 seconds, it’s too hot for your dog.👟 Paw protection: Try booties or paw wax if hot surfaces are unavoidable.
-Stay hydrated: Carry water for both you and your pup.
-Stick to the shade and grass when possible.
Let’s make hot days happy ones—not harmful ones. Share to spread awareness!

The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ is making waves again on June 25 at Oak Point Recreation Center!
For 24 hours across six continents, waterparks, aquatic facilities, and community organizations will unite with one powerful mission: teaching life-saving water safety and swim skills to help prevent drowning. 🏊♀️
Drowning remains one of the leading causes of accidental death for children worldwide, with risk especially high during the summer months and around the July 4th holiday. That’s why teaching kids to swim isn’t just fun — it’s essential.
Research shows formal swim lessons can significantly reduce drowning risk, yet millions of children still lack access to water safety education. Together, we can change that. ❤️
Join the movement. Build confidence. Save lives.
