Thanks to you, our first From the Heart No Gala, Gala was a great success! There are very few organizations in the Collin County area that help keep people in their homes. Your generosity not only impacts our local families but the entire Collin County community.

Forty years ago, several members of the Plano Service League and I founded the Information and Referral Center of Plano. Today, the Assistance Center of Collin County is the outgrowth of this need, and its requests have multiplied exponentially. This has been a cause near and dear to my heart. We see every day how one unexpected crisis can put a family at risk of losing stability. A job interruption, medical emergency, or unforeseen expense can quickly turn into eviction, utility shut-offs, or food insecurity. Our work exists to meet people in that moment – and help them bridge the gap back to self-sufficiency.
