*We are excited to celebrate our 12th Annual Day,
which will take place with five sessions. Each session will include two or three schools together.

*Wristbands will be provided to each registrant, including children.*
*Lunch or dinner will be included based on your school’s Session.

Registration closes on March 11th.

*Please be aware that the snacks, lunch, and dinner provided during the Annual Day event may contain nuts or other allergens. If you or your child have any food allergies, we kindly request that you take the necessary precautions to ensure they do not consume the snacks.*

We are delighted to share that our 5th Annual Food Drive, organized in partnership with the North Texas Food Bank, was successfully completed today, Saturday, November 22nd.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to make a meaningful difference in supporting underprivileged communities. This year, we collected:

1,828 pounds of food

$1,905 in cash donations

✨ Total Meals Donated by the MTA Family: 7,248 meals ✨

We extend our sincere gratitude to our entire team of coordinators for their dedication and hard work in making this initiative a tremendous success.

MTA குடும்பங்களுக்கான வேனிற்கால கவியரங்கம் இன்று நம் Plano Davis நூலகத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. 13 கவிஞர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டு பல்வேறு தலைப்புகளில் தம் கவிப்படைப்புகளை வெளிக்காட்டினர்.

கவிதை வாசிப்புகளைத்தாண்டி, புதிர் விளையாட்டுச் சுற்றுகள், கவிஞர்களின் தமிழார்வம், கவிதைகளின் முன்கதையென சுவையான கருத்துகளை அனைவரும் பகிர்ந்து கொண்டனர்.

திருமதி. மணிமேகலை சுகுமார் வந்திருந்த கவிஞர்களையும் பார்வையாளர்களையும் வரவேற்புரை ஆற்றினார்கள். திரு. வெங்கட் வீரப்பன் வாழ்த்துரையும் திரு. தமிழ்மணி கமலநாதன் நன்றியுரையும் ஆற்றினார்கள்.

திரு. சேதுராமன் ராஜேந்திரன், திருமதி. ஜெனிதா ராஜசேகரன் மற்றும் திரு. பூபாலன் மரியா ஆகியோர் கவியரங்கத்தை ஆரம்பம் முதல் இறுதி வரை அழகாக தொகுத்து வழங்கினார்கள்.

திரு் வெங்கடேசன் (செலைனா) கவியரங்கத்தை நேரலையில் ஒளிபரப்ப உதவினார்.

இந்நிகழ்வின் மூலம் MTAவின் கவிவளம் மேலும் வலுப்பெற்றது!! மீண்டுமொரு இயற்றமிழ் விழாவில் சந்திப்போம்!!

மெட்ரோப்ளெக்ஸ் தமிழ்க் கல்விக் கழகம் மற்றும் குறள் கூடல் செம்மொழி அறக்கட்டளை இணைந்து இன்று சனிக்கிழமை, ஜூன் 7 ம் நாள் நடத்திய திருக்குறள் ஓதுதல் நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்ற குழந்தைகள் முதல் பெரியவர்கள் வரை அனைவருக்கும் மனமார்ந்த பாராட்டுகள் மற்றும் வாழ்த்துகள்.

இந்த நிகழ்வில், 133 அதிகாரத்திலிருந்தும் ஐந்தாவது குறள் மட்டும் தேர்வு செய்யப்பட்டது. அதனை 133 பேரால், ஒருவர் ஒரு நிமிடத்தில் ஒரு குறளாக ஒதுக்கப்பட்ட நேரத்தில் தெளிவாக வாசித்து அதன் பொருளையும் விளக்கி கூறினர். இது அவர்களின் தாய் மொழியான தமிழ் மேல் கொண்டுள்ள ஈடுபாட்டையும், பற்றையும் அழாகாக வெளிப்படுத்தியது.

பங்கேற்ற அனைத்து உறுப்பினர்களுக்கும் மெட்ரோப்ளெக்ஸ் தமிழ்க் கல்விக் கழகம் மற்றும் குறள் கூடல் செம்மொழி அறக்கட்டளை சார்பில் சான்றிதல்கள் வழங்கப்பட்டன.

இந்நிகழ்வில் குறள் கூடல் செம்மொழி அறக்கட்டளையின் நிறுவனர்கள் திருமதி மாலா கோபால் மற்றும் திரு ஆதி கோபால் நேரில் கலந்து கொண்டு, அனைவரையும் உற்சாகப் படுத்தினர். இந்த திருக்குறள் ஓதுதல் நிகழ்ச்சியை மெட்ரோப்ளெக்ஸ் தமிழ்க் கல்விக் கழகத்தின் தன்னார்வலர்கள் ஒருங்கிணைந்து மிகச்சிறப்பாக நடத்தினர்.

டல்லாஸ் மாநகரில் தமிழையும் தமிழர் பண்பாட்டையும் அடுத்த தலைமுறைக்கு எடுத்துச் செல்லும் முக்கிய பணியில் ஈடுபட்டுள்ள மெட்ரோப்ளெக்ஸ் தமிழ்க் கல்விக் கழகத்தில், அமெரிக்க மருமகளான மெலிசா மைக்கேல் ஆறு ஆண்டுகள் தமிழ் மொழியைப் பயின்று பட்டமும் பெற்றுள்ளார். அவர் தமிழில் நிகழ்த்திய உரை நம்மை மகிழ்வடையச் செய்யும்.
