It's almost time for Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day! we can't wait to see our Bethany Bunch tomorrow morning!

🚶‍♀️🚲🛴 WALK, BIKE & ROLL TO SCHOOL DAY! On Wednesday, October 7, Bethany families are invited to join Plano ISD in celebrating National Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day!

Walk, bike, scooter, or choose another appropriate way to get moving on the way to school. It’s a fun opportunity to begin the day with physical activity, connect with family and neighbors, and practice safe walking and riding habits.

Before heading out:

✅ Choose a safe route and practice it together
✅ Use sidewalks and designated crossings
✅ Follow crossing-guard directions
✅ Put phones and other distractions away
✅ Wear a properly fitted helmet when appropriate
✅ Follow Bethany’s normal arrival procedures

Can’t walk, bike, or roll the entire way? That’s okay! Families can participate for part of the trip or use the day to discuss active transportation and safe routes to school.

Participation is completely optional, and families should choose the route, transportation method, and level of adult supervision that are right for their child. Let’s get Bethany moving! 💙💚 Plano Independent School District
