As of yesterday: (Brian Fletcher)

After six days of early voting, we’ve had 122,970 voters. More than 50% of the vote came out of the top 10 voting locations. Gay Library is #1 in Collin County.

There’s been discussion about block walking during early voting:

Poll greeting
-For example Parr Library ( #10 in the county)
-Last 6 days of early voting
-4,844 voters
-Hours of operation = 52 hours
-93 voters per hour

Block walking
-Estimated 20 homes per hour
-Assume 50% of the homes block walked get out and vote
-186 homes required based on assumption
-9.3 man hours required to reach same number of voters while poll greeting

Return on investment
-1 hour poll greeting = 9.3 hours block walking

Collin County analysis:
Republicans are out-voting Democrats 2.1-to-1

HD61 analysis:
Republicans are out-voting Democrats 2.17-to-1
