May is National Get Caught Reading Month - a celebration designed to remind all of us just how fun it is to get lost in a good book. At Russell Education Foundation, every time a student gets “caught” reading, we see more than a quiet moment with a book...we see confidence rising, vocabulary growing, and new doors of opportunity starting to open.

Whether it’s in our after-school classrooms or at the kitchen table, we’re cheering on every child who chooses to turn a page instead of tuning out.

All month long, we’re celebrating students who get caught reading and we’d love for you to join us. Snap a photo of your favorite young reader, tag us , and use so we can share the joy and inspire even more kids to pick up a book.

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason our children can learn, dream, and walk through doors of opportunity in freedom.
