The MOST (Maximizing Out of School Time) Summer Camp is officially underway! Funded by the Children's Services Council of Broward County, these camps offer hands-on STEM experiences for children, combining fun, learning, and interactive exploration of science and technology. ☀️ From a high-energy therapy drum circle and bubble madness on the playground, to a trip to Castaway Island the All Heart Campers have had an unforgettable first two weeks. 🥁
And of course every summer has to have some educational component – so this year’s MOST theme is: How can we create a fun foodie experience for our friends and family? 🍳🥗 Starting with kitchen basics and food safety, campers will explore different topics each week focused on food! With topics like manners and etiquette, food around the world, menu planning, and healthy eating, they will be ready to tackle the culinary world. Stay tuned all summer long to see the progress as the MOST campers become chefs that even Gordon Ramsay wouldn't have critiques on 😉.

At ASC we're all about FIFA World Cup! That is, creating a (F)un, (I)nclusive, (F)amily, (A)tmosphere in our world of course 😉. Whether it's on or off the soccer field, we love to come together to celebrate wins, encourage physical development, support each other through challenges, and build a community where everyone feels like they belong. We can’t wait to watch so many nations come together for a united purpose and in our opinion, everyone will be a winner ⚽ Good luck tonight Team USA!

The teams are set, and there’s some Grade-A talent ready to show off their skills for the 40th Volleyball Challenge this Saturday in support of ASC. We’ll be there all day, so stop by the courts just north of Pompano Beach Pier to cheer them on. Look for our ASC tent to check in and can set up shop for the day to enjoy some great tunes, high energy games, refreshments and lots of chances to enter the raffle for some great prizes! We’re already packing our beach bags and can’t wait to see you on the sand! PS Don’t forget your sunscreen, the future is looking bright 🏐☀

Ann Storck Center's Sensitivity Training gives participants the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of individuals with developmental disabilities. Through hands-on simulations that mimic challenges such as visual impairments and muscle contractures, the Fort Lauderdale Debutantes experienced firsthand how everyday activities can be affected.
Simple tasks like eating, getting dressed, picking up small objects, or walking can become much more difficult when physical limitations are involved. That's why our dedicated therapy team works alongside the individuals we serve, using specialized strategies and supports to build independence, confidence, and quality of life.
Thank you to the Fort Lauderdale Debutantes for joining us yesterday and embracing this eye-opening learning experience! We look forward to working with you on our Butterfly Garden Project this Fall. 🦋🌱
Interested in coming for a tour of ASC and participating in this impactful training to your company, organization, or community group? Message us to learn how Ann Storck Center's Sensitivity Training can foster greater awareness, empathy, and inclusion.
When we know more, we can do more. 💙
