We had a great time in Bayou Pigeon supporting the Wild Beast & Seafood Cook-Off and the benefit for “Wild Bill” Carline and his family. We were happy to be part of both events!

A special thank-you to our cook team for entering such a delicious meal in the cook-off!

The success of both events says so much about our community and the way people come together to support one another.

What a beautiful day for a picnic!

Caroline and I attended Mass at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, then enjoyed the community picnic. We were happy to be a part of it and share in the fellowship with friends and neighbors.

What a great day in St. Gabriel at the Papa George Cook-Off benefiting St. Jude! We were happy to be part of this event again this year.

We had a great time tailgating at the Plaquemine High homecoming game tonight! We enjoyed hanging out with the fans and cheering on the Green Devils.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered your time to help set up, serve, and make the evening happen. I appreciate all you do and I enjoyed spending the night with you. I’m looking forward to more good times together!

Justice.

After deliberating for a little more than two hours, an Iberville Parish jury delivered guilty verdicts Friday to a pair of siblings and the hitman they hired to kill him.

It all begins again, with the start of a new school year: the busses roll and school zones are in effect mornings and afternoons. Let’s all remember and be aware of busses stopping and students crossing roadways. Together, we’ll make it a safe and rewarding school year for our children in Iberville Parish.

Back to school is almost here! Giving back to the community, preparing our young people for another productive year of growth and learning - all part of the stewardship mission of our Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office under the leadership of Sheriff Brett Stassi and the initiative of our deputies.
