Thank you all who joined us for the candlelight vigil honoring Charlie Kirk and all those impacted by the recent senseless violence in our country.

We had the opportunity to listen to some amazing guest speakers. From them we have learned that we cannot stop fighting, we cannot be silenced, and we must remain peaceful and loving in everything we do. When we are threatened and persecuted for our beliefs, we must stay strong and hold on to our morals.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:10 “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” DO NOT FORGET THIS.

Please join us, College Republicans of UW-Platteville, and Turning Point USA of UW-Platteville this Sunday at 7PM for a candlelight vigil. We will be gathering at the Platteville City Hall Park to remember Charlie Kirk and other victims of senseless violence. There will be a time of prayer and worship. It is more apparent than ever that we come together to pray for our nation.
