As your Clinton County Coroner, I want to do more than investigate deaths. I want to understand why they are happening and what we can do to prevent future tragedies.

I’ve already had conversations with individuals involved in the New York/New Jersey HIDTA program, which works to identify dangerous drug trends and strengthen cooperation between law enforcement and public health agencies.

My goal is to build strong working relationships with CVPH, local hospitals, the Clinton County Health Department, law enforcement, emergency responders, and state and federal partners.

By collecting accurate information, identifying patterns, and developing annual reports, we can better understand what is happening in Clinton County.

Whether it’s dangerous drugs entering our community, increasing overdose deaths, suicides, or other preventable tragedies, we need to recognize these trends and take action.

Information should not just sit in a report. It should be used to educate, prevent tragedies, and save lives.

That is the kind of proactive, transparent Coroner’s Office I want to build.

Tomorrow, October 24th, marks the first day of early voting!

Tomorrow is more than just another day. It’s an opportunity to make your voice heard, stand up for what you believe in, and help shape the future of Clinton County.

Our community deserves leadership that listens, accountability from those who serve, and a commitment to making things better for the families who call this county home.

Throughout this campaign, I’ve met incredible people, heard heartbreaking stories, and listened to families who simply want to know that their voices matter. Those conversations are why I’m so passionate about public service.

Change doesn’t happen overnight. It starts with people who care enough to get involved.

Every year, more than 120 babies in New York State lose their lives to sleep-related causes, including SIDS and accidental suffocation. I want to work alongside CVPH, local healthcare providers, EMS agencies, and community organizations to increase education about SIDS, co-sleeping risks, and safe sleeping practices. I also want parents to know they are not alone. Whether it’s helping new parents access safe-sleep education and resources or supporting families who have experienced the unimaginable loss of a child, I want to make sure they have someone to turn to. I will work to connect families with the support, guidance, and resources they need.

Protecting Our Children Starts With Awareness and Education!

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit the Clinton County Child Advocacy Center and learn more about the incredible work they do to protect children in our community.

Online exploitation and sextortion are real dangers, and unfortunately, families across our country have experienced unimaginable tragedies because of them.

On November 5th, from 5:30–7:30 PM at SUNY Plattsburgh, three families will share their heartbreaking stories to help educate parents, children, and our community about the dangers of online exploitation.

As a candidate for Clinton County Coroner, I believe our responsibility goes beyond responding to tragedies. We must also work together to prevent them.

Education, awareness, and prevention can save lives. If sharing this event helps protect even one child, it’s worth it.

Please share this event and help spread awareness. Our children deserve to be protected.

What a great day in our community!

This morning, I enjoyed a great breakfast at the Niagara Hose Company No. 1 /Champlain fire department and had the opportunity to see their beautiful new fire station!

Later, we attended the Saranac GOP Pork Dinner. Thank you to everyone for the support, great conversations, and delicious cake!

Today, I also heard from several families such as lisa Pellerin about their experiences losing loved ones. She waited hours for a coroner, and waited far to long for death certificate. “it was devastating for her she said” I understand why.

I keep hearing these same concerns throughout Clinton County, and it’s clear that improvements need to be made.

Families deserve timely responses, compassion, communication, and answers.

Thank you to everyone who shared their stories and continues to support me. It means more than you know!
