🚔 Cass County Sheriff’s Office + Plattsmouth Police Department

10/05/2026

Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Plattsmouth Police Department have built something special: one team, across agencies and divisions, working toward the same purpose.

This career is not easy. It asks us to see difficult things, make hard decisions, and carry responsibilities most people never experience.

But behind the badge, uniform, headset, or jail door, we are still human. We care about our community. We enjoy the people we work beside. And we take pride in making a positive difference, even when no one else sees it.

You should be proud of where you work and the people you work with.

If you do not LOVE what you do or who you do it with, maybe you just have not found the right home yet.

CCSO + PPD. Different agencies. Different divisions. One team. Thank you, The Bliss Barn at Sherwood Forest!

The badge represents service. This month, the color represents something more.

Throughout October, the Cass County Sheriff’s Office and Plattsmouth Police Department are wearing pink badges in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Behind every pink ribbon is a person, a family, a fight, and a story. Some are still fighting. Some are survivors. Some are deeply missed.

For us, wearing pink is more than changing the color of a badge. It is a visible reminder that serving a community also means standing with people during some of the hardest moments of their lives.

Two agencies. One community. One message:
No one fights alone. 🎀
