Consider applying to become the 2029-2030 District Governor position. The application is now online.

Nominating Committee Chair and PDG, Olivia Patterson Ryans shared the following regarding the impact of serving as District Governor: "The ability to witness first hand the grassroots efforts of Rotarians filling the gaps in their communities, lifting up and improving the lives of others. Well, join Westwood Village Rotarian Christopher Bradford for an informative workshop on Rotary's Global Grant Scholarship program and learn how clubs can identify, recruit, and support outstanding young adults seeking to make a difference in the world. Christopher will provide an overview of the scholarship process, eligibility requirements, and the qualities that make for a strong candidate. Whether your club is considering sponsoring a scholar for the first time or looking to strengthen its recruitment efforts, this session will equip you with the knowledge and tools needed to connect deserving future leaders with this life-changing Rotary opportunity.

We are thrilled to announce a generous $36,000 donation from the Rotary Club of Los Angeles (LA5) to Rotary District 5280 in support of our Vocational Scholarships Program!

This incredible gift will allow us to reach 24 additional young adults, helping them pursue their educational and career goals while building brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Did you know since 2003 our District 5280 has been the only District in the world to conduct a Districtwide Humanitarian Trip? For over 20 years we have set aside our District Designated Funds to fund various projects and the host country. Each year we contribute nearly half a million dollars in DDF and matching funds from the World Fund.
