Thank you to the Quad Cities Chamber for hosting us this morning.

We heard questions, concerns and visions for the future of our local economy.

Electing an independent from our district to Congress gives us the unique opportunity to change Congress on day ONE.

We’re working hard everyday for you, Iowa.

The parties are desperate to keep control while the rest of Iowa just wants things like gas, groceries and access to healthcare.

And when you’re desperate you’ll make promises you simply can’t keep.

We’ve all known for a long time that this red vs blue thing isn’t working.

But many districts do have an out.

We do though.

This week in Washington! 😬

Congress worked a total of 4 days over the last 3 1/2 months.

(We pay them $15k/month to tell us WE’RE not working hard enough here in Iowa and that’s why we’re in the mess we’re in 😵‍💫)

So, not much to report from Congress.

In the senate, The Ratepayer Protection Act tanked 57–43 because three votes were apparently too much to ask just ahead of a midterms.

So instead of making massive AI data centers cover their own power bills, us regular folks get to keep footing the tab.

This will tell you where their favors will be owed at our expense if elected.

If there’s big tech listed, you better assume they would vote against your interest should a similar act come up for them to vote on.
