Beginning in January 2027 dog license fees will be the same price for ALL Residents, regardless of any previous fee category.

A $10.00 dog 🐕 license fee WHEN licensed before March 1st 🦴
Dog Licenses on or after March 1st it will be $15.00
residence are encouraged to license their dogs before March 1st to take advantage of the five dollar discount .

 Early dog licensing will be available from December 1st

We would like to remind all residents who own dogs, the city code states all dogs in the city limits are required to have / wear a dog license6.04.180.

Please remember to have proof of a current rabies vaccine when coming in to license.

Water Main Update:

Last night, a pressure relief valve failed, resulting in 5 water main breaks throughout the city. Our crews worked tirelessly throughout the night. All five water main breaks have been repaired today.

A special thank-you to our hardworking crews for their dedication and quick response. We also appreciate our residents’ patience and understanding as we work to maintain our aging water infrastructure.

School zone safety!

School starts this Monday August 24th!

-Watch for signage and flashing yellow lights.

-Maximum speed in a school zone is 20 mph

-STOP and wait for people in a crosswalk and for the crossing guard. Wait until everyone, including the crossing guard, are fully out of the crosswalk.

-Utah law has hefty fines for violating school zone laws.

*Let’s all work together to help keep our students safe!
