Science Comes to Life in Third Grade! 🦴🔬

Last week, one of our third grade classes was fortunate to welcome a wonderful guest speaker, Socorro Gilbert, a forensic osteologist! She shared an engaging lesson about the human skeleton and its developmental stages, giving students a fascinating look at how scientists study bones to learn more about people.

Students even had the incredible opportunity to examine and handle real human bones! What an unforgettable, hands on learning experience! 🤩

Through this experience, students explored how human characteristics develop and how scientists use evidence from bones to make observations and draw conclusions. Bringing our third grade life science standards to life!

A huge thank you to Socorro Gilbert for sharing her expertise and giving our students a memorable glimpse into the world of forensic science! 💚

Somehow, the Raiders and Mrs. Neumann have something in common… 👀

Both teams are 3-0 and undefeated to start the season! Two teams that aren’t exactly known for undefeated starts are making some noise this year. 😂🏆
