Learning to swim can open the door to so much more!

For a group of young Chicago rowers, swim lessons at FOSS are helping them feel safer and more confident on the water — while opening up new opportunities to row, compete, attend camps, and connect with their teammates.

Through a partnership with Chicago Community Sculling and Outdoor Afro’s Making Waves program, these students are building skills that go far beyond the pool.

Read the full story and see how swim lessons are helping these young rowers make waves. https://www.fossswimschool.com/2026/10/14/making-waves-swim-lessons-help-chicago-rowers-find-their-confidence/
