Another week, another library forecast! 🍂 Take a look at what's going on this week at your library 🌱📖
Monday- [Baby & Me Storytime] @ 10:00 AM Babies and toddlers are invited to bring a parent or caregiver to this special storytime. Enjoy recognizable and fun rhymes with a short story before playtime!
[Talks that Bring Us Closer] @ 2:00 PM Join us at for a monthly discussion series where we watch thought-provoking video talks together and explore the ideas that connect us. Each session features a short curated video followed by an open, welcoming conversation.
Tuesday- [Family Storytime] @ 10:00 AM Get ready for fun songs and dances, exciting stories, and fingerplays! Activities are most appropriate for preschool age learners, but all ages are welcome.
[Oregon Trail: Live! - Register] @ 4:00 PM Will your wagon make it to Oregon — or will you succumb to dysentery? Grab three friends and relive the classic adventure in real life! Teams of four will take on the roles of pioneer families as they navigate the challenges of the Oregon Trail — right here in the library. Registration required: Stop in-person or call to register.
Wednesday- [Craft Time] @ 10:00 AM Calling all little makers! Get creative with a fun themed craft at the library! Each program features a different exciting theme, giving kids the chance to explore, create, and take home a unique masterpiece. All supplies are provided—just bring your creativity! This week we'll be making a salt dough handprint pumpkins!
[Seed Saving] @ 5:30 PM Seed saving from your favorite plants is a practice and simple skill to learn. Join us to learn the ins and outs from collection to preparation, storage, stratification and everything in between. Additional information will be shared on plant propagation as well. You will start building a seed bank during this session as well.
Thursday- [BYOB: Bring Your Own Baby] @ 9:30 AM Join parents, caregivers, and kiddos ages 0-2 y/o to socialize and learn from Early Childhood Specialists at the Library! Progressive Beginnings’ therapists and Family Resource Center and Family Connections educators will host a different topic each month, (every 3rd Thursday). This month's theme is Squishy Sensations!
Thursday- [LEGO Club] @ 4:00-5:30 PM Ages 6 and up. Build up your creativity and LEGO skills at the library! Share ideas, work together, and make new friends. A caregiver must remain in the building with children under 10 years old.
Friday- No scheduled programming.
Saturday- No scheduled programming.
