State Representative Trey Steimel recently secured a $1,000 grant for the Black River Area Development Corporation (BRAD) through the Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance to support local food insecurity initiatives.

The funds were used to distribute food packages to area families during the annual back-to-school season, helping ensure students returned to the classroom with reliable access to nutritious meals.
