Did you know the key to a satisfying breakfast is eating a mix of protein and carbs? Mrs. B's FACS students made greek yogurt pancakes, topped with fruit and peanut butter. Chocolate chips were an optional add in, measured with our heart of course. Food, Culture and Society celebrated Ireland with a Dublin Coddle so good that several students requested the recipe to take home. Child Care took a break from learning about the birth process to share some birria tacos that our girl Nanda brought in, just because. They were absolutely perfect and it got Mrs. B to stop saying words like "dilated" and "colostrum" for the entire hour.

From still life drawings that explore form, texture, and shading to colorful Loteria cards inspired by students’ hobbies in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, 8th grade art students have been putting their artistic skills to work. They also sculpted and painted miniature versions of their favorite foods using air-dry clay, then added magnets for one-of-a-kind creations!

Celebrating Our Heroes Behind the Wheel!!!
It is National School Bus Safety and Bus Driver Appreciation Week!
A huge thank you to all our school bus drivers, van drivers, and transportation staff who work tirelessly to ensure our students arrive at school safely, comfortably, and ready to learn!

Safety Reminder: Remember to obey stopping laws around school buses- flashing red lights mean STOP in both directions on undivided roads! Let's keep our students safe!!
