If you have been summoned to serve as a prospective juror on Monday, August 17, 2026, you do need to appear. The matter is proceeding to jury trial. There is limited parking on the streets near the courthouse, so it is suggested that you either park at the parking lot along the river or at the vacant lots on west second street where the Powell’s Grocery store and the old Meigs General Hospital used to be located. Additional juror parking is permitted on the corner lot of Second Street and Butternut Avenue.
