Yesterday, deputies from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, along with officers from San Fernando PD, participated in a series of **training** scenarios that tested their abilities to plan, coordinate, and respond to an active shooter situation on-board a Metrolink train.

Late last week Metrolink deputies teamed up with the Department of Homeland Security Police in conducting a joint operation. It is of utmost importance to us that all Metrolink riders feel safe any time they commute on the trains.

Metrolink Bureau is feeling melancholy today because we’re losing a darn good one, but we are also so incredibly happy for her because Gladis is getting promoted!! We’re so thankful for her, her tireless service, and her endless knowledge she has helped our unit with during her time here. We wish her nothing but the BEST at her new unit! THANK YOU, GLADIS!
