It's 🔥National Heat Awareness Day!🔥 What better way to stay cool than… skiing off a high jump at the ? In 1951, Olympic skier Willis Olson jumped the highest artificially made ski jump in the world at 225 feet and a 500-foot slope. The jump required 8 million pounds of ice to be ground into snow. Cool off in the Library this summer and learn more about the ski jump and other "cool" ❄️ attractions in the Fairplex Records!
