The Watercolor contest is an annual event put on by the City of Pomona that was established by the Cultural Arts Commission. Please read through the contest guidelines on the website before submission!

LA County Arts & Culture is proud to launch the next phase of the Public Artists in Development (PAiD) program: free online workshops to support artists’ career development. Workshops will cover a variety of topics from portfolio presentation, contracting, budgeting and more, and will be presented by diverse facilitators, including established public artists, administrators, and subject area experts.

Cycle #1: Open Call for Artists – PART A

CALL OVERVIEW
The City of Pomona is seeking Public Artwork through the Art in Public Places (AIPP) Bi-Annual Funding 2024 Calls. There will be two Calls conducted in 2024, and this Call refers to the first one designated “Cycle #1: Open Call for Artists”.
The Cycle #1: Open Call for Artists is composed of two parts— Part A requests that all interested artists submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOIs), which will be used to create a short-list of the highest ranked artists; and Part B Proposals, will be inviting those short-listed artists to submit proposals. While Part A Letter of Inquiry is open to all interested parties, Part B Proposal is limited to a maximum of 10 proposals for Cultural Arts Commission consideration.
