💰 ANOTHER CONSUMER REFUND! 💰

Inspector Glazer helped secure a $39,019.52 refund for yet another Rockland County Consumer!

During mediation, Inspector Glazer went the extra mile to keep communication clear by speaking with the consumer on her cell phone while simultaneously speaking with the business on her office phone. I was lucky enough to capture this moment in real time! 📸
It’s a great example of the dedication our team brings to helping consumers and working toward resolutions.

🛍️Great deals shouldn't come with great risks🛍️

⚠️Scammers often try to rush your decision-making so that you're less likely to verify information. Be cautious of common scammer phrases. ⚠️

🎃👻 SCAM WATCH WEDNESDAY: A PASSWORD NIGHTMARE! 👻🎃
Received a creepy email claiming a scammer has one of your passwords and demanding money? 😱 Don’t let them scare you!
Password blackmail scams are designed to frighten you into paying. Scammers may even use an old password exposed in a previous data breach to make their threat seem real.

🕸️ IF IT’S A PASSWORD YOU STILL USE:
🔐 Change it immediately
🔑 Use a unique password for every account
🛡️ Turn on multi-factor authentication
💀 NEVER pay the scammer

Even if they have a real password, it doesn’t mean they have access to your accounts.

Don’t let scammers give you a Halloween scare! 🎃
