🌐Real Time Thursday🌐

Thursdays are for our Real Time Information Center (RTIC).🌟

On May 11, at around 9:25 AM, dispatch received a call regarding a burglary inside of a business in the 100 block of W Mission Blvd. When the victim arrived at his place of work he discovered the business had been broken into and his laptop was stolen.

Using the laptop’s tracking information, our drone was able to locate the suspect and provide officers with real-time updates as he moved locations. Officers quickly responded and located the suspect identified as 35-year-old Francisco Salazar of Pomona.

During the investigation, Salazar admitted to taking the laptop from the business and was taken into custody for the violation. Salazar was subsequently transported to the Pomona City Jail where he was booked for commercial burglary and petty theft with priors.
