WELCOME TO PONCE INLET FIRE DEPARTMENT, JACOB EVANS!

Please join us in welcoming Jacob Evans to the Ponce Inlet Fire Department!

Jacob brings four years of experience with Deltona Fire Rescue, serving from February 2022 through May 2026. After Deltona, he joined PIFD and just recently completed his two-week orientation and is now officially assigned to B Shift!

Outside of the fire service, Jacob enjoys agriculture and sports. He also played inline hockey for 14 years!

Jacob is getting married this December and is looking forward to welcoming a new addition to his family in March.

When asked about his favorite tool, Jacob’s answer was tactics!

We’re glad to have Evans apart of the team and look forward to seeing him succeed in his new role.

Welcome to the Ponce Inlet Fire Department family.

We would like to take a moment and express our sincere gratitude toward everyone that contributed their time and effort for our 9/11 memorial ceremony event. Our thanks goes beyond words for everything you did to honor those lost during the tragic attacks that occurred 25 years ago. The support we received from everyone who orchestrated the event, and showed their respects in attendance, was overwhelming. It was our honor and privilege to host such a remarkably successful event for The Town of Ponce Inlet. May we never forget the sacrifices made and innocent lives lost on that tragic day in our history.
