Friendly reminder that pumpkins are due this Friday to the Extension Office! We can't wait to see all of the creative pumpkins!

Join us in participating in our annual pumpkin decorating contest! All entries are due to the Pearl River Extension Office by 5pm on Friday, October 23rd.
You may begin dropping pumpkins off on Monday, October 19th. Pumpkins will be available for pick-up beginning Tuesday, October 27th. Any pumpkin not picked up by 4pm on Friday, October 30th will be discarded.

As a reminder, we will not accept any pumpkins that are carved or punctured in any way. This is to help preserve pumpkins while they are kept at our office.

Last month two of our Pearl River County 4-Hers attended the State Slingshot Championship. They placed as follows:
- Carson Rector- 3rd place Senior two
- Emily Shaw- 3rd place Senior one

Great job! 🎉

If you are interested in participating in our slingshot program, sign-ups for our Hot Shots Shooting Sports program will open up at the beginning of next year!

We are officially starting a new club in Pearl River County! In the Jr. Leader program, participants will get to gain leadership experience all while gaining friends and having fun! Our first meeting will be an interest meeting to learn about the club. You do not have to be in 4-H yet to attend!

There are so many amazing opportunities in 4-H! When you join Pearl River County 4-H, you have the opportunity to join some of our amazing clubs. The clubs we currently offer include:
-Blazin' Saddles Horse Club,

-Hot Shots Shooting Sports
-Photography Club,
-Jr. Master Gardeners,
-Cloverbuds,
-Lucky 13
