The Officers and Members of the Conquest Fire Company extend our deepest condolences to the Port Byron Fire Department and the family and friends of Past Chief David Dixon.
Past Chief Dixon dedicated an incredible 58 years to the volunteer fire service, serving his community in many capacities, including as Chief of the Port Byron Fire Department and President of the Northern Central Firemen’s Association.
A lifetime of service like his leaves a lasting impact on the fire service and on the communities he served.
Our thoughts are with the Dixon family, as well as our brothers and sisters at the Port Byron Fire Department, during this difficult time.
Dave’s dedication, friendship, and commitment to the fire service will not be forgotten. We are grateful for the many years he gave to serving others and for the example he set for those who follow in his footsteps.
Rest easy, Chief. Your work here is done. We’ll take it from here.
