Today, we pause to honor and remember the 2,977 precious lives lost on September 11, 2001.
We carry in our hearts the everyday heroes, the innocent civilians, and the incredible bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation. We pay special tribute to the 343 FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice that morning to save others. Their courage, selflessness, and dedication remain an enduring beacon of true service.
To the families who carry the weight of loss every single day, and to all those whose lives were forever changed: we see you, we stand with you, and we support you.
Time moves forward, but our promise remains unshakable: We will never forget. 🇺🇸

This past month's training covered a couple very important topics the bridged the gap between fire, EMS and athletics.

We first had some special guests from Aspirus (Nicole and Sydney) to show us how to properly remove helmets and pads from injured football players. This focused on maintaining the patient's head/neck stability while minimizing movement and working with them as a team.

Then we moved into vehicle incidents involving patient extrication (the odds on favorite of the year...). Shown in the pictures were methods of gaining access to the patient and safe removal, which then leads into and finishes with extra practice with the tools on whatever is left.

Special thank you to Nieman’s Towing & Recovery for the vehicle and our friends at Saratoga Ems for joining us. And another very special thank you to Trinity Lutheran Port Edwards for the blessing and pizza for our drill night.

HAPPENING NOW! Come on down to Port Palooza. We'll be here until 8:00 pm. Fun and food for the entire family!

For our evenings training, we were visited by two members of the Trinity Lutheran Port Edwards. They brought us some delicious pizza and offered our department and members a wonderful blessing.

Thank you very much for the wonderful meal and blessing! We truly appreciate you!

🍋 Thank You! 💛

What an incredible day! Thanks to the generosity of our community, our Alex's Lemonade Stand fundraiser raised $470 for childhood cancer research!

Every cup of lemonade, every donation, and every person who stopped by helped support children and families fighting cancer. While it may seem like a small gesture, together we're helping fund research that gives kids more treatment options, more hope, and more birthdays.

From all of us thank you for making a difference. We truly appreciate everyone who supported this cause and helped us turn lemonade into hope. 💛🍋
