Introducing the newest addition to our imaginary patrol fleet!

Traffic in Laguna Vista? Port Isabel? South Padre Island? Brownsville? Bayview? No problem! We’ll be flying over it!

Looks like we’ll be responding to calls even faster now! Just kidding… for now!

Whether on the ground or up in the clouds, Cameron County Constable Precinct 1 is committed to serving our community!

What do y’all think? Should we upgrade the fleet? 🚔🚀

CONGRATULATIONS, CORPORAL FRANCISCO LERMA JR.

I am extremely proud of my Corporal, Francisco Lerma Jr., on graduating from the LEMIT Texas Constables Leadership College, Class #21!

The Texas Constables Leadership College is an intensive, multi-module leadership program designed to strengthen the leadership, management, and administrative skills of Constables and their command staff. Corporal Lerma dedicated several weeks throughout this year to attending and completing this demanding program, demonstrating his commitment to professional growth, leadership, and serving our community at the highest level.

This accomplishment is not only a personal milestone for Corporal Lerma, but also a proud moment for the Cameron County Constable’s Office, Precinct 1. Investing in leadership development helps strengthen our department and prepares our team to meet the challenges and responsibilities that come with serving our community.

Corporal Lerma now joins a distinguished group of graduates from our department:

🎓 Constable Norman W. Esquivel Jr. - Class #16

🎓 Chief Deputy Esau Rincon - Class #17

🎓 Sergeant Jesus Estrada - Class #20

🎓 Corporal Francisco Lerma Jr. - Class #21

As Constable, one of my priorities is to invest in my team, encourage professional development, and provide opportunities for our deputies to grow as leaders. Seeing our personnel continue to pursue excellence makes me incredibly proud.

Congratulations, Corporal Lerma! Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to becoming a stronger leader reflect the values we strive to uphold every day. Thank you for representing Precinct 1 with pride and for your continued service to our community.
Here at Precinct 1 we are small team but mighty team!

Today, Constable Norman W. Esquivel Jr. had the honor of being invited to the Saronic Port Alpha groundbreaking ceremony right here in the Port of Brownsville, Cameron County Precinct 1. Constable Esquivel also attended the Eric Flores and Vice President JD Vance Rally in Harlingen Texas.

Precinct 1 is experiencing tremendous growth, including the development of what is expected to become the nation’s largest shipyard. It is an incredible honor to represent the people of Precinct 1 during this exciting time of growth and opportunity.

I was proud to be surrounded by great men and women in public service, including Brownsville Mayor John Cowen, City Commissioner Gus Deleon, Brownsville Deputy City Manager Felix Sauceda, Harlingen Chief of Police Alfredo Alvear, State Representative Janie Lopez, State Senator Adam Hinojosa, County Judge Eddie Trevino and many other state and local leaders.

Our Cameron County Constable Precinct 1 deputies also played an important role in the safety and security operations for Vice President JD Vance, Governor Greg Abbott, and everyone else who attended today’s event.

Our team worked alongside the Port of Brownsville Police Department and many other law-enforcement partners to help ensure today’s historic event was safe and successful.

Here in Precinct 1, we are a small but mighty team. We are dedicated to serving you, protecting our community, and providing safety and security to everyone who lives, works, and visits Precinct 1.

The future is bright for Precinct 1, and we are proud to be part of it!
