Shout out to RJ Shelly for organizing another successful ADOPT A BEACH CLEAN UP DAY! And a big THANK YOU to the MBVFD Ladies Auxiliary for once again providing and serving the delicious food! Thanks to Alan Roberts for cooking the very tender pulled pork!

Of course this wouldn’t be possible without all the fabulous volunteers who braved the heat to make our beach look amazing! Thank you all!

Last, but certainly not least, Thank you to the Precinct 1 Crew for your tireless efforts in keeping our beaches and communities looking great! You all are much appreciated!

MAGNOLIA BEACH SHORELINE PROTECTION PROJECT aka CEPRA 1679 (INDIAN POINT)

UPDATE:
Progress continues behind the scenes on the Magnolia Beach Shoreline Protection Project! This project will install a T-head groin and two oblique rock groins along with beach nourishment to protect and restore the shoreline at Indian Point — creating a stronger, more resilient Magnolia Beach for our community. With our federal permit and state water quality certification already secured, our engineering team is now finalizing 100% design plans in preparation to advertise the project for bid in early 2027. Construction is targeted to begin summer 2027.
