ππ₯ LIVE FIRE TRAINING & A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS! π₯π
Yesterday, five members of the Port Matilda Volunteer Fire Company, including two Chiefs and three probationary firefighters, attended a live structure burn training session hosted by Citizens Hook & Ladder in Milesburg.
Live structure burn training provides firefighters with valuable, realistic experience in fire behavior, from the growth stages of a structure fire through suppression and extinguishment. This hands-on training helps prepare our members for the challenges they may face during an actual emergency.
Our three probationary firefighters, Mason French, DeAnn Kibe, and Darren Kibe, took full advantage of every training opportunity the structure allowed. All three did a fantastic job, showing dedication, teamwork, and a willingness to learn!
π A SPECIAL CONGRATULATIONS TO FIREFIGHTER MASON FRENCH! π
With the successful completion of his live fire training, Mason officially completed his probationary board requirements and is now a certified interior firefighter! ππ₯
Mason, your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the fire service have paid off. We are proud of your accomplishment and look forward to watching you continue to grow within Company 15!
A huge thank you to Citizens Hook & Ladder for the invitation and for providing this valuable training opportunity.
All the instructors that made this day happen we couldnβt do it without you.
Great job to all three probationary members for continuing to learn, train, and make Port Matilda proud! πͺπ
