Our officers teamed up with Culver's of Port Richey last night for another success Custard with a Cop event. Officers delivered food to customers, interacted with residents and met Culver's mascot "Scoopie."

Thank you to Culver's of Port Richey and all those who came to support us in our blue aprons!

Our community engagement officers enjoyed seeing everyone's costume at the Nature Coast Chamber of Commerce, Halloween themed car show (a trunk or treat event).

We can't wait to see what everyone else wears, this spooky season leading up to Halloween.

Have you noticed our pink badges? Many of our officers have swapped their regular shields out for pink ones in support of breast cancer awareness month.

This October, we proudly stand with breast cancer survivors and their families. We remember those taken too soon and show strength, hope and support in the fight against breast cancer. 🎀 🚔

We are asking the public to be extra careful this morning as continous rain has resulted in standing water on several city streets. If water appears too high, turn around, don't drown.

**UPDATE** Our new friend has been reunited with the owner. Thank you to everyone who helped. They are both happy to be together again.

Good morning, Port Richey community members! This morning, we were greeted by a citizen and this gorgeous pup, found by the river near Grand and Alto. If you could work your magic and help connect us with this lovely dog's owner, we'd really appreciate it. We are enjoying the company; however, I'm sure the owners would like to be reunited. Please call 727-816-1919 if you have any information that could help.

Crew members from Publix at Regency Crossing (store 767) surprised us today with lunch and dessert. This reminds us of the valuable relationships we have with the community, businesses, and citizens alike.

Thank you, Publix at Regency Crossing, for your support and generosity on this day of remembrance.

This morning, staff and members of the community came together to honor the 25th anniversary of the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, our nation still carries the legacy of 9/11 in our hearts. Today, we pause to honor the lives taken too soon, the families who endure their absence, and the heroes who ran toward danger. In remembrance of their sacrifice, let us choose kindness, lean into unity, and promise to never forget.

If you smell pleasantries or see a small amount of white smoke coming from the police department don't be alarmed, we are just enjoying our new green egg grill and smoker donated to us by the Caldwells from the Martha's Vineyard community.

The Caldwells like many of our residents have been long time supporters of our department and we appreciate each of you for it. Whether it be small words of thanks in passing, a waive as we patrol your neighborhood or items dropped off at our department, appreciation for our officers and the city's public safety doesn't go unnoticed.

Celebrating with all of you this Labor Day.
