Science class has been full of fall flavor! 🍎

Students have been busy this fall picking and processing apples in their science classes. They've pressed and enjoyed many gallons of delicious apple c***r, an endeavor that requires teamwork and problem solving skills.

Last week, they were joined by Justine Broderson who helped 8th and 9th grade students prepare "take and bake" apple crisp to bring home and share with their families. Thank you, Justine!🥧

7th grade CTE students are becoming more familiar and confident with the tools in the shop! 🪚For this cool pumpkin project, students used a variety of tools and techniques, including:

⭐Miter saw – Cutting accurate angles
⭐Drill press – Drilling precise holes
⭐Band saw – Cutting curves and shapes
⭐Sanders – Smoothing and polishing their projects
⭐Wood burning – Learning a new technique to add unique details!

Even better, these pumpkins were made from scrap 2x4s, showing students how leftover materials can be turned into something creative and fun.

Great work, 7th grade! 🎃
