Have you ever heard of Arch Klumph? He was the 6th President of Rotary. The Arch Klumph Society recognizes Rotary International Foundation's highest level of giving-those who have contributed $250,000 or more over a lifetime.

This weekend in Evanston, our very own Dave and Ginny Dell were inducted as members. Help us congratulate them and thank them for the impact their donations makes both locally and abroad! 🎉

🚨❤️ Community Partnerships Save Lives ❤️🚨

We were honored to welcome the Rotary Club of Portage to the Texas Township Fire Station this evening. As the club explores opportunities to establish a satellite club in Texas Township, they have already made a tremendous impact on our community.

As part of a service project, Rotary members not only collected smoke detectors for local residents, but also generously donated $500 to support our smoke detector program.

Many residents may not be aware that the Michigan Prevention Smoke Detector Program was eliminated due to state budget cuts. While that funding has disappeared, the need for working smoke detectors in our homes has not.

Your Texas Township Firefighters are committed to filling that gap and developing a new community smoke detector program to help keep our residents safe. The Rotary Club's generosity provides the perfect spark to help launch this important initiative.

We are incredibly grateful for their support, partnership, and commitment to making our community safer.

This donation is more than just funding, it's the seed that will help grow a program that saves lives.

Stay tuned for more details as we roll out this exciting new initiative!

Rotarians of the Corn...Co****le that is! Rotarians came out in force to toss for a cause. It was the first annual Portage Community Center Co****le Tournament. Thankfully Rotarians are much better at service above self than bag aim.
