đź’— Portage Fire Rescue Goes Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness! đź’—

The members of Portage Fire Rescue might look a little different this month when they respond to your home or see you out in the community! Our firefighters are proudly wearing pink shirts to show their support for breast cancer awareness and to help spread the message about the importance of early detection.

Let’s stand together, support those affected by breast cancer, honor survivors, and remember those we’ve lost. 💕🎗️

Thank you to our Portage Fire Rescue members for showing their support and helping raise awareness in our community!

Portage Fire Rescue & Portage PD Open House Success!

Portage Fire Rescue and Portage Police Department would like to thank everyone who attended our successful open house tonight! We had a great turnout, and attendees enjoyed brats, hot dogs, refreshments, and an opportunity to learn more about the services and resources available in our community.

We would like to extend a special thank-you to the businesses and organizations that helped make this event possible:

Culver’s for providing delicious custard for our attendees.
Paul Davis and NFSA for the live fire demonstration highlighting the importance of residential sprinkler systems.
Columbia County ADRC and Emergency Management for helping educate our visitors.
Derek from Fire and Safety for donating the fire extinguishers for our raffle.
Joe’s Auto & Truck Center for joining us and supporting the event.
We are incredibly grateful for the support we received from our community and local businesses. A special thank-you goes out to the members of Portage Fire Rescue who worked so hard to plan and put on this event for our community. Your time and dedication do not go unnoticed!

Successful Blood Drive with ImpactLife!

We also had a successful blood drive in partnership with ImpactLife, collecting a total of 22 units of blood!

Thank you to the members of Portage Fire Rescue, Chief Keith Klafke, and community members who took time out of their busy day to donate and help save lives. Your generosity makes a real difference!

Thank you to everyone who attended the open house, donated blood, volunteered, and supported these events. We are proud to be part of such a generous and supportive community!

Thank you for helping make both events a success! ❤️🚒
