Fresh bread is in the stand now ($5) and we have delicata, butternut, honey but, and buttercup squash, potatoes, garlic, jam, up-cycled crafts and more!

We have tons of gourds and mini pumpkins but all of the big ones are sold.

Open 7a-7p for the next 8 😱 days at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners.

Ps. Dillie says hi… and by the way… the other day, when he was running amok, he wants everyone to know it was Simone’s idea and he just followed for moral support.

Our girl Simone broke out of THREE (different) fences today. The good news is she loves it here so she just wandered around helping herself to snacks.

The silver lining is that she and Ellie and Clyde had a visit and I got a few pics. In my head they are saying things like: “WHAT is THAT?!” and “Are YOU my mother?” and “Is my baby still on the inside?!”

If you’re looking for us, we will be mending/fixing/building fences for the indefinite future.

It’s a beautiful day for goat yoga. Ash brought out his goat yoga book and we tried some positions with Ellie and Clyde. It was a roaring success, if the metric of success is the number of giggles and cuddles!!!

Have you ever tried to take a nice family photo but everyone looks silly in at least one or a sibling has pushed another out of the frame? Us too. Debbie, RJ, Mae, and Sampson did their best 🥰

Good morning from Full Bucket! We are in the last two weeks of the season now but we still have lots of pumpkins, gourds, and squash. We also have mums, onions, garlic, potatoes, jams, fall baskets, and up-cycled goods that make great gifts.

Open 7a-7p every day though Nov 1 at 41 Plank Rd in Porter corners.

Ps. It’s early, I know but if you’re wondering what to do with your carved pumpkins when you’re done with them, these guys would LOVE them. Bluey here is an expert at getting all the good stuff out of the inside 🥰

We are deep into winter preparations at the Bucket. Wow have we grown in the last year!

This time last year we had 5 large farm animals (4 goats and a cow) and three families of chickens.

Now we have 20 large farm animals (15 goats, one cow, three sheep, and a cutie little pig) and four families of chickens and lots of free rangers.

We’ve been doing inventory of what we have and what we need to keep everyone safe, happy, and healthy this winter. Before we buy new, we wanted to check with our amazing community to see if anyone has any of the needed items they might want to donate.

What we need:
-5 gallon buckets
-Cap blocks or pavers (10)
-heated chicken waterers (3)
-briefcase heaters (5) (I’m too much of a nervous Nellie for heat lamps!)
-Outdoor extension cords (~300 ft total)
-Outdoor flood lights (3)
-Outdoor cord protectors
- exterior solar lights
-goat coats (small/medium/Xlarge)

Ps. We will be open every day until 11/1 and we will have bread tomorrow (10/15) since I won’t be baking this weekend.

Good morning from the bucket! We are open and the bread is on its way out in a few.

If you stop by to visit these sheep/goat/cow/pig/chicken cuties, be sure to watch out for holes as you wander. We are extending the run for Millie/Dillie/Gary/Simone (+baby) to get to a barn uphill where they won’t have so much mud and will have room to grow. I know you should watch out for these holes from extensive experience with falling in holes. The second to last pic is one captured directly after a wipe out while on FaceTime with one of my favorite humans + daughter. She insisted it be included in this post. While on the ground I saw this beautiful butterfly. I think the universe was telling me to not use my phone and walk at the same time and/or to touch more grass… got it, universe.

The farmstand and animal visits are open 7a-7p every day until Nov 1 at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners. We will have bread this Wednesday (10/14) but no bread next weekend (10/17-18).

Happy 10/10! The bucket is full of fall deliciousness with buttercup, honeynut, butternut, acorn, delicata, and spaghetti squash. We also have potatoes, garlic, jams, pumpkin, mums, and more.

If you see this guy around this weekend, be sure to wish him a happy birthday. His smarts, kindness, compassion and farm knowledge are well beyond his 7 years. His animal cuddling and farm touring abilities are unmatched around here. What a privilege it is to be his mom.

The stand is open 7a-7p everyday through 11/1 at 41 Plank Rd in Porter Corners. Bread will be out by 9am (it’s in the oven 😊).
