Valley Adult Day Services "Your caregiving partner" "Even if I can't cure, I can still care." -- Sally P. Adult Caregiving is challenging for the giver and the receiver.

Karioth RM, PhD

WELCOME to Valley Adult Day Services - We are your local adult daycare and we are here to support and sustain lives well-lived. We understand these challenges and the support that is crucial for all involved. It is our mission to provide the supportive respite necessary for family caregivers and in turn, we provide an uplifting experience for your loved one. To achieve that, we focus on therapies that help stabilize and often improve cognitive awareness but most of all, we excel at providing a warm, caring and safe environment. We utilize games, puzzles, crafts and artwork for sensory support. Socialization is encouraged through group activities such as singalongs, service animals from Pet Partner, and Elder-cize which are exercises specifically geared for delicate bones and muscles. Nutritious hot cooked meals and snacks are served during our clients stay and additional services are also available and encouraged such as showers and skin care. All of this is achieved at our licensed facility with certified caregivers. Our team of eldercare professionals also provide family counseling, support groups, care information and service referrals as needed. Our extended hours from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday makes it convenient for caregivers with a fulltime job. Additional respite services for shorter stays are also available. We thank you for visiting our site and look forward to helping you with all all of your caregiving needs. Please call Marina Chavez, Executive Director at 559-783-9815 to arrange a tour. She will be happy to discuss all of your specific needs.

🌟 Investing in Leadership. Investing in Our Community. 🌟

Valley Adult Day Services would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Rob Taylor of Stafford's Chocolates for generously sponsoring our Executive Director, Marina Chavez, to participate in Leadership Porterville! 💜

This sponsorship is more than support for one person—it’s an investment in VADS and the work we do throughout our community. Leadership Porterville provides an incredible opportunity to grow as a leader, build meaningful connections, learn more about the community we serve, and bring new ideas and knowledge back to our organization.

We are incredibly grateful to have local businesses and community leaders like Rob who believe in strengthening local nonprofits and investing in the people working to make Porterville a better place.

Thank you, Rob Taylor and Stafford's Chocolates, for believing in VADS and supporting leadership in our community! 🍫💜

💜 Help Us Raise the Roof for VADS! 💜

Valley Adult Day Services is kicking off our $120,000 Raise the Roof Campaign to make critical capital improvements to the facility our clients, caregivers, staff, and community rely on every day.

For VADS, this building is more than four walls and a roof. It’s a place where seniors and adults with disabilities find connection, purpose, friendship, and care—and where caregivers know their loved ones are supported.

Now, we’re asking our community to help us invest in the future of VADS.

Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to our goal and helps ensure VADS can continue serving local families for years to come.

💜 Help us Raise the Roof!
📲 Scan the QR code on the flyer to donate.
📣 Can’t donate right now? Sharing this post helps too!

Together, we can raise $120,000 and build a stronger future for VADS and the families we serve.

Executive Director, Marina Chavez is a Porterville Chamber Ambassador and is always out in the community supporting local business and sharing information about VADS! It was great running into Supervisor Townsend at Revive Dance Collective's Ribbon cutting and discussing our latest projects and award of a Tulare County Good Works grant!
Thank you, Supervisor Townsend!
