BAYAN Oregon fiercely condemns the unjust arrest of community organizers Christina Pasion and Binay Serrano in Cabuyao City, Laguna on July 30. We echo the demand of Christina's family to release Christina and Binay immediately and uphold their rights. We call on our community to serve the people, defend the human rights of our kababayan everywhere, and organize against the state terrorism of the US-Marcos regime!

🇵🇭 BAYAN Oregon, Malaya Portland, and Tanggol Migrante Movement Oregon hosted a picnic in Peninsula Park to celebrate community and the strength of the people in the face of repression! We watched youth perform tinikling, heard a new song from Concerned Artists of the Philippines, danced zumba, learned about the root causes of the problems here and in the Philippines, and shared recent victories of community organizing, including the release of Filipino immigrants from ICE detention!
