Ten of the District 4 Portland City Council candidates greeted voters a public forum at the Multnomah Arts Center in SW Portland last evening. The event was hosted on Indigenous People's Day, with a land acknowledgement and statement from Michele A. Pinkham of the Nimiipuu Tribe of Oregon.

After introductions and responses to a question about navigating diverse viewpoints to work together for our city, dozens of voters participated in meaningful conversations with the candidates, all in a fun and fast-paced "speed dating" format.
