The Scholastic book fair is all packed up! Over the last three days the Grout PTA was able to gift a free book to 276 students. Today we were delighted to receive a few dozen handwritten notes from a very special group of fifth graders. Here are just a few of the sweet messages we received. Also, we’re not crying. You’re crying.

Apologies to our Cafeteria Lead Donna and to . On Nov. 14th we’ve got BIG PLANS for the Grout Cafeteria and they don’t involve your delicious breakfasts and lunches. We’re hosting a Makers’ Market!!!

Join us and an amazing selection of local artists, including but not limited to: spy.junk And many, many, many more.

We still have a limited amount of table space available if you know a maker looking to sell their stuff. APPLICATION:

Grow Portland Garden classes have started at Grout. September's theme was "Welcome!" 🌱🍁🌻🌞

If you have the time (and a current PPS background check) we would love your help in this beautiful outdoor classroom. Each class gets to visit the garden about once a month, usually on a Wednesday. You can learn more about volunteering and view your student's garden schedule on Konstella.

Just one week to go until our first dine out at Dairy Hill Ice Cream. Visit their Hawthorne location on October 7, grab a cup (or cone!) of ice cream and then take your picture in the thing! You know... the thing... it's a picture you put your head in.

You can look like ice cream WHILE eating ice cream. Fun!
