Junior League of Portland The Junior League of Portland works to end the cycle of violence against women and children.

Our members are women of vision and passion who have served as catalysts for lasting community change. Since its inception in 1910, the JLP has been at the forefront of emerging issues. We’ve taken on many challenges in the community – from homelessness, child welfare, AIDS, breast cancer, domestic violence, and much more – collaborating with non-profit agencies to develop programs and project that respond to these needs as well as providing financial support, volunteers in direct service and training.

Yesterday was FIND the GOOD DAY for the Junior League. Our league celebrated by awarding grants totaling $35,000 to 10 amazing non-profits doing great things in our community!!

Our members submitted nominations, our investment committee convened, and the selection process was finalized. The organizations graced us with their presence and spoke about their mission and impact in our General Membership Meeting(GMM).

It was a wonderful way to Find the Good, Be the Good, and Do the Good!
