It's here! Our 2025 annual report is out: Seeds of Change. Last year, our affiliates reached 512,000+ people at 3,900+ events, & they improved 3,700+ acres of habitat for pollinators, wow!

Thank you to everyone who started the seeds, pulled the weeds, and planted the trees. We are so grateful for all that you do to create pollinator habitat, reduce pesticide use, & educate the public.

As with comedy, harvesting milkweed seed is all about timing!

Too soon and the seed will be immature and won’t germinate, too late and it will have either blown away or involve a flossy mess you’ll need to deal with before sowing.

Leaves are habitat, not trash! 🍂

One of the most valuable things you can do to support pollinators and other invertebrates is to provide them with the shelter they need to survive the winter. Thankfully, that’s pretty easy; all you need to do is do less yard work.

Every neighborhood, town, and college campus can be a haven for wildlife! 🏘️🌻🦋

Communities across North America are working to , and you can do the same where you live! Change can look like turning roadsides and unused spaces into habitat, reducing pesticide sprays, helping neighbors learn about conservation, and more. Every piece adds up to more healthy pollinators!

Join us tomorrow for this webinar, where Xerces Society staff Aaron Anderson and Jacqueline Buenrostro will discuss the many ways we can support the amazing invertebrates within HOA communities, with tips, tricks, and new resources to share for creating and maintaining habitat that is “HOA-ready”.
