Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence TRIGGER WARNING: On this page, we frequently and openly discuss domestic violence, rape, sexual assault, stalking and other forms of interpersonal violence.

Everything we post and share is carefully weighed for its collective benefit vs. potential for re-traumatizing others, and posts that contain particularly graphic or disturbing content will be preceded by a content warning in their description. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES: Posts or comments that are deemed to be in poor taste and/or contain threats, hate speech, personal attacks, defamation, or spam (i.e. promotion of a product, service, or cause without the prior permission of the coalition) will not be tolerated, and may be hidden or deleted without warning. We also do not re-post crowd-funding requests. Repeat violators of this policy may be banned at the discretion of Coalition staff.

The Oregon Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence continues to believe that all have a right to access the safety and healing resources, no matter their gender identity or immigration status. We will continue to push back when our members are asked to restrict access, turnover confidential information and deny services that are vital to the safety of our diverse communities across the nation. To that end we have joined a new lawsuit.

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This month, we’re speaking openly about domestic violence, standing with survivors and reminding our Central Oregon community that free, confidential help is available. Follow along for awareness events, community fundraisers and ways to get involved. 💜

And to all survivors, we see you, and believe you. We love you, and we're here for you, whether it's October or not. đź’ś
