ASLC The Associated Students Body (ASB) of Lewis & Clark College The Constitution of ASLC establishes a 5-branch government.

The ASLC provides critical functions to the students of Lewis & Clark, including funding of student organizations, delivery of newspapers, tutoring services, advocacy, budget management, and more. The ASLC manages a 3/4 of a million dollar budget, which is legally bound by the Constitution and controlled entirely by students. Senate drafts and passes legislation, cabinet manages government functions and executes the legislation, and the judiciary ensures everyone is following the rules of the constitution and bylaws, as well as managing the Peer Review Authority. An Auditory Branch provides resources and research on the institution of the College, and an Elections Committee ensures all elections are carried out smoothly, fairly, and within the bounds of the law.

We are looking for an ASB Auditor for the ‘26-‘27 school year!
The Auditor is responsible for maintaining an organized record of all ASB-relevant documents, such as meeting minutes for Cabinet and Senate, as well as legislation. They respond to requests for that documentation from students and also perform audits and investigations when requested by students, both within and outside of ASB. The Auditor must also conduct at least one student-wide survey per year. There are a few periodic duties that the Auditor must perform as well on an as-needed basis, such as summary reports on events such as student elections, updating the ASB website, and helping oversee the ongoing digital ASB feedback form.
The Auditor chairs the Auditory Committee with one primary member: the Student Notetaker. They are responsible for training their Notetaker and ensuring that their recordings and minutes are integrated into the existing Auditory ecosystem. The Auditor receives an honoraria of $2,000 per year, distributed monthly.
