⚓ Happy Birthday to the United States Navy! 🇺🇸

For 251 years, Sailors have answered the call to defend our nation, protect freedom, and carry the Navy's mission across the world's oceans.

🩺 For Naval Medical Forces Atlantic, that legacy means 251 years of caring for the force and evolving alongside the Fleet. From the first Navy surgeons and surgeons' mates to today's highly trained medical professionals, our mission remains the same: keep Sailors and Marines healthy, ready, and able to fight.

⚓ Here's to the Sailors who came before us, those serving today, and the generations who will carry the Navy forward.

🇺🇸 Today, we recognize Columbus Day and reflect on the history of exploration, navigation, and the continued evolution of our nation.

⚓ For the Navy, exploration and operating across the world's oceans have long been central to the mission. Today, Sailors continue that tradition by serving around the globe, adapting to new challenges, and supporting the Fleet wherever it operates.

🩺 Naval Medical Forces Atlantic is proud to support those Sailors and Marines, ensuring they have the medical readiness and care needed to accomplish the mission.

🚑 Patient transport is a vital link in the continuum of care. Training helps medical teams coordinate movement, maintain continuity of care and prepare to respond when operational demands require rapid, effective casualty movement.

⚕️ By sustaining these skills, Navy Medicine strengthens expeditionary medical capability and prepares its teams to support the warfighter in challenging environments. Readiness depends on every part of the mission, from initial treatment to safe patient transport.
