Training today was a SUCCESSFUL ONE with Persia Fire.. Had a few bikers and busses come threw town which was awesome.. We talk to them and said when RAGBRAI comes threw Portsmouth (last stop town) we will set up WATER FIGHTS.. SO keep us in mind for a party and to stay cool..

Just a reminder Main St in front of the fire station in Portsmouth will be closed at noonish for training that portsmouth n persia will be doing start at 4.. we also will be using some of the club 191 parking lot.. thanks n sorry for any inconvenience..

Just a reminder
We will be having lifenet training tmr at 7.. we will be starting at the station before going up by the chruch for a landing.. so if you see alot of vehicles trucks ambulance and a helicopter flying around .. it's just a training..

HEADS UP PORTSMOUTH..

Second Monday of the month we have our normal meeting/training night at the station.. BUT Monday July 13 at 7 is the next one and we are having a training with lifenet so if you see trucks vehicles ambulance and a helicopter land up by the church it's ALL TRAINING..

ALSO Sunday July 19 from 3pm to 7pm Main st in Portsmouth between 1st and 2nd st .. pretty much in front of the fire station the street will be closed for another training with persia and there fire trucks..

Thanks for your support over the years and we hope to service this community the best we can..

We will do our crp/control burns on Thursday march 19.. .. Hopefully get to them all but we are a little short of help so might take awhile for some but anyways we ask that if your in our area that you don't burn that day.. wait till the wknd it'll be nicer đŸ˜†

CRP and Control Burns Update: Although a date is pending, we are targeting the end of next week for burns. (Will let you know but shooting for Thursday March 19) If your burn requires our involvement, please communicate with us so we can plan accordingly, aiming for all burns to occur on one day. (We have 3 right now so would start at 4ish) Additionally, we ask that residents in the Portsmouth area avoid burning on our designated burn day, due to the deployment of our entire fleet and staff. We are always ready to act and the response time would be top notch but it's just easier to control 1 fire instead of 2.. this would make everyone job easier and safer.. Thanks, Chief Leinen

Don't miss our breakfast tomorrow morning, Sunday, March 1, from 7:30 to 11:00. We're proud of our track record for successful events,(not 1 breakfast burnt either) and we hope to see you there. A free-will donation is appreciated, with proceeds going towards upgrading our station or building a new one, provided that other essential facilities are also maintained. We invite contractors to share their expert opinions on our plans, and any input from professionals in the field would be valuable. We're dedicated to serving our community.
