🦋 The first Saturday of the month means Two-Language Tales / Cuentos en Dos Idiomas! We read Señorita Mariposa and made colorful tissue paper butterflies.

Join us this Saturday at 10 a.m. for Weekend Wonder Tales! We’ll be reading The Busy Little Squirrel. We meet every Saturday at 10 a.m. around the tree in the children’s area. Come enjoy a story with us! 📚

Our new adult book club, Tales and Tomes, met for the first time last Friday! 📚 Missed it? Join us on Friday, November 6, at 4:30 PM!

We’ll chat about last month’s book or whatever you’ve been reading and turn old paperback pages into book page pumpkins. 🎃 Our optional group book this month is King of Wrath by Ana Huang, a contemporary billionaire romance available on Hoopla Digital.

You don’t have to read the group book to join us. Come enjoy some book talk and crafting!

📚 Banned Books Week started yesterday and runs October 4–10! This year’s theme is “Let Books Be. Protect the Freedom to Read.”

The American Library Association began Banned Books Week in 1982 to raise awareness about attempts to censor or remove books from libraries, schools, and bookstores. More than 40 years later, protecting the freedom to read remains just as important.

At Patrick Lynch Public Library, we believe everyone should have the freedom to choose what they read, explore different viewpoints, and find stories that matter to them. Your reading choices belong to you. ❤️

Our first Chair Pilates class with Pam Willhite starts TODAY at 10:30 a.m., and Mat Pilates begins Wednesday at 10:30 a.m.!

💎 Explore rocks and crystals at Rockhound Roundup today at 3:30 p.m.! Learn tips for identifying rocks and finding them here in Oklahoma. For adults and ages 6+.

💻 Learn how to spot phishing emails, fake websites, and scam calls at Click With Confidence on Tuesday at 4 p.m.

🕯️ Bring a friend and make a glowing luminary jar at DIY Creations on Tuesday at 5 p.m.! All supplies are provided, and no crafting experience is needed.

Come get moving with Chair Pilates! 💜 Community member Pam Willhite will lead the first class THIS MONDAY, October 5, at 10:30 a.m. in Patrick Lynch Public Library’s community room. Classes will continue every Monday at 10:30 a.m.

Enjoy gentle, chair-based movements focused on strength, balance, and flexibility. The class is geared toward seniors, but everyone is welcome!
