Thank you to everyone who has continued to donate to our food drive for Coventry Food Pantry. One couple just told us they decided to use their Medicare 'rebate' to help out their neighbors who are dealing with food insecurity and brought in a whole load of food and other essentials.

This food drive is open anytime our office is, and you're welcome to stop in with a bunch of groceries or even just an individual item.

Do you have questions about how safe and secure PA elections are? You aren't the only one- it's reasonable to want to understand this critical process.
With that in mind, the PA State Department made this video to help inform the public about the security measures that are being taken to protect our votes- including mail-in and in-person ballots.

The Shapiro Administration is committed to safe and secure election...

This day often ignites fierce debate about the nature of American history, with some community members celebrating Indigenous Peoples' Day and some celebrating Columbus Day.

But here is what I'd like to see us reflect on, not only today, but each time we think about our national past:
We should seek the truth about the many facets of our national origins, and be honest about the mistakes we've made.
We can celebrate what is good, and avoid whitewashing what is wrong.
We can learn from our history, including how to forge a better path by honoring other people and treating them fairly.

We can't undo the wrongs of the past, but each new day is an opportunity to create a more just future.

🦅 OFFICIAL NOTICE FROM REP. FRIEL'S OFFICE 🦅
In observance of Philadelphia Eagles Loss Recovery Day, our office will be closed Monday.
This difficult time calls for reflection, emotional healing, and perhaps a serious discussion about our offensive play calling.
We ask for your patience as Eagles fans across the Commonwealth work through the five stages of grief.
Normal operations will resume Tuesday, assuming morale improves.
Go Birds. 🦅💚

It's been a very busy fall in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. Read on about the bills we passed in the House - especially the one that could deliver open primaries in PA!

I’m excited to write you following a busy legislative slate in October. In Harrisburg, I voted on dozens of important bills for Pennsylvania this month.

My Phoenixville Town Hall is coming up next week! As with the past 3 town halls, I will give some legislative and community updates, and allow a lot of time for Q&A.
If you want to send questions in ahead of time, you can email me at [email protected] and put "town hall question" in the subject line.

Good News!
The Department of Conservation Natural Resources has awarded parks grants to 2 local municipalities:

Phoenixville Borough Downtown Park - $250,000

East Vincent Township - Park on the Ridge- $250,000

I'm grateful for the work that our local and state governments are doing to create and improve beautiful natural spaces that contribute to the quality of life for people in our communities!
