I am proud to earn the endorsement of Caring Majority Rising and I’m committed to holding corporations accountable for their role in exploiting and profiting off of our home care system. I’m honored to stand with Caring Majority rising to fight to ensure our tax payer dollars meant for care make it to the consumers and caregivers who need it most.

Today, we remember the brave Americans who gave their lives in service to our country.

Memorial Day asks us to reflect on the sacrifices made by generations of ordinary people who believed deeply in the promise of this nation — and who gave everything in defense of it.

I’ve been thinking today about what it means to truly honor that sacrifice.

For me, it means doing our part to build a country worthy of it. A country where working people can afford to live with dignity, where families can get healthcare when they need it, where democracy is protected, and where everyone has a fair shot.

That work is unfinished. But it’s worth fighting for.

Today, we remember those we lost, honor their service, and recommit ourselves to building a better future together. We also hold in our thoughts the families, friends, and fellow servicemembers carrying the loss of those who never came home.

Thank you, and I hope you have a meaningful Memorial Day.
